What the
Those were my words once getting to the final page of this book.
I honestly thought this was going to be one of those kind of action packed, kind of alot of scienticfic facts type of book.
Well. Excuse me the.
I love this book. It gave us an action packed, dystopian-sci fi, romantic, mystery. In a world so similar, yet so far from ours where at every turn, you were on the edge of your chair, wondering who the hella wasn't an alien space invader. It built it's world at a good paced beat.
Our main character, Cassie, was one of the best. Kick butt, sarcastic and real. She had a backstory of teenage girl problems. Behind all the "able to shoot guns and running for her life", she acually had a history of normal teenage girl problems.
The points of views in this story was awesome. I could tell who was talking at what time. And they all added a piece to the story to build a world that, despite being completely all over the place at the beginning, began to piece together so that we knew more about it in every point of view.
We got to see everyone's take and their journey for survival. And I think that really developed.
Some of our characters, were annoying and paper-made at times, but I think the awesome aspects of their selves pushed those things below.
All together, there were some parts in which I was knocking my head against the wall, but if you pull through them- get ready to throw your book against the wall (In the best fangirl way).
Recommended for people who are fans of sci fi, action, and awesome writing.
