So, who here writes.
Okay- before you give me sarcastic answers like "I write everyday because school and essays and my diary about my teenage girl problems."
Yeah, um... good for you and your teen probs but I mean, like, stories. Who writes stories, like fantasy or dystopian or just short novels.
*Everyone raises hand
Now, who has writers block all the time and sometimes has no idea what to write about.
*I slowly raise hand with little other
Yeah. But, for those of you like me who acually don't know what to write about, or don't know what scenes to write about or just want to write a really good scene but have nothing to write about.
Here's something.
So, today, my acquaintances, "class mates" you may call them, went on this epic journey to the park. Yup. Then they went on an even epic-er one to a foresty thing. And, the pics were beautiful. So, maybe you could write a scene on that. A scene that has a theme. Forest, nature and tie in some other things.
Basically, try to get ideas from those experiences that you've had-or even better- the ones you haven't, the ones you didn't get to join.
Because, if you don't know what the journey is, but you have slight context from someone else's perspective, then you have all the more space to fill with words. You can make it your own alteration of that adventure. So, if someone goes to the movies without you, then rubs it in your face by sending you pics and "Epic movie with Sarah AKdfjowi...." Take it as if it's aspiring, you in your writing. Because then, you have context to fill in the blanks. \
